One of things we have learnt about our Puppet show is that Children take onboard the messages that we pass through the show and they remember and talk about it for a long time.

Our shows are designed to get children involved and to learn from what they see and hear. The shows are entertaining, with lovable puppets and fun filled stories. We put morals into the shows and the children remember them.

To put all of this to good use we have two different kind of shows that we produce for schools. The first kind covers all of the safety issues that are important for children to learn. The second kind is seasonal, normally used for end of term treats.

We have been sponsored in 2006 and 2007 to provide Road Safety awareness themes. This enables us to visit schools and provide a 30 minute show to Key Stage 1 & 2 children on the ‘be seen, be safe’ motto and the green cross code.

The sponsorship we receive keeps the cost we charge for the show down to a minimum and fits in well with national curriculum material that schools have to teach children.

Our seasonal stories are for different times of the year. Our main stories are centred around Christmas, Easter and the Summer Holidays. These stories are all written by ourselves and are filled with music and song not to mention as many puppets as possible in a 30 minute script.

In 2006 we were sponsored by the DHL Exel Supply Chain to perform a thirty minute road safety show in Primary Schools around Stoke on Trent during Brake Week in 2006. This was received extremely well by the Schools and is continuing into 2007.

New sponsors are joining to support the Puppet Company in 2007 for a week at a time. With their help we can perform in as many Primary Schools as possible. The majority of sponsors are Transport Companies who operate large fleets of vehicles. Supporting the Puppet Company is one of their contributions to society that will hopefully save lives.
